Venice in a Different Light â Autumn & Winter Photography Workshops
Dear friends,
As the days grow shorter and the air takes on that unmistakable clarity of autumn, Venice begins to shed its tourist skin and reveal its quieter, more intimate side. It's during these monthsâfrom October to Februaryâthat I run one of my most rewarding and sought-after experiences:
âš 4-hour private photography workshops at twilight or sunrise.
Whether youâre a seasoned photographer or someone simply looking to reconnect with the art of seeing, these sessions are designed for those who want more than just pretty pictures. They're about slowing down, reading the light, and catching the mood of a city that reveals everything when the world is still.
Why This Season, This Light?
Venice in autumn and winter is cinematic.
The fog rolls in. The silhouettes grow longer. Street lamps reflect like brushstrokes on the pavement. And the silence... itâs a luxury you wonât find in peak season.
Who This Is For
This isnât a photo tour in the tourist sense. Itâs a guided 1-to-1 workshop, tailored to your eye, your pace, and your levelâwhether you're shooting with a Leica M10, a smartphone, or your grandfatherâs analog Canon.
Youâll benefit most if you:
Love working with available light
Enjoy black-and-white or moody colour work
Want to explore composition and storytelling
Need new inspiration or portfolio material
Prefer authenticity over postcard clichés
